Role Overview:

The Senior Analytics Engineer will develop and maintain the analytics platform. This role collaborates with business and product teams to identify critical questions, establish success metrics, uncover opportunities, and influence data-driven decisions. The Senior Analytics Engineer also acts as a liaison between business and engineering teams to ensure analytics considerations are integrated from the start.

Where You're Located:

This role is remote within the United States and involves high touch and high volume output.

• Work with teams to define key questions, success metrics, and shape data-informed decisions.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver our Data Platform, turning raw data into organized assets using Snowflake, dbt, and Looker.
• Bridge between business and engineering to ensure analytics impacts are considered early in feature development.
• Audit and evaluate data quality, ensuring accuracy and legitimacy.
• Improve internal processes for data delivery and tool/model redesign for impact.
• Make analyses repeatable and accessible.
• Ensure data security and compliance with laws like GDPR and CCPA.
• Build actionable insights through deep understanding of data and business.
• Create reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs and answer business questions.
• Promote the Roadpass Digital culture and values.

Experience:

• 5-7 years in a technical, analytical role
• Proficient in writing performant SQL for relational databases
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain complex processes to non-technical audiences
• Experience supporting cross-functional, remote teams
• Passion for transforming data into clear metrics and visualizations (Looker, Tableau)
• Knowledge of data laws/regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
• Experience with data warehouses (Preferred)
• Mentorship ability (Preferred)
• Experience with ELT platforms, Snowflake, dbt, Looker (Preferred)
• Familiarity with R or Python (Preferred)
