Job summary

Applied Information Sciences is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions for mission-critical systems. You will develop high-volume data pipelines and backend services in a secure cloud-based environment, collaborating with Agile teams across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance required
• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience)
• 4-6 years of experience in Agile software development
• Strong experience with Python and Java, high-volume ETL, AWS S3/RDS/EC2/Lambda, SQL with PostgreSQL or Oracle, Linux environments, JSON formats, and DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Vault

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver data solutions in two-week sprints
• Design, implement, test, and maintain data pipelines and backend services
• Develop scalable, high-performance ETL solutions
• Support microservices integration using REST, SOAP, or GraphQL
• Diagnose and resolve complex system and data issues
• Work with customers and internal teams to refine data requirements
• Support DevSecOps pipelines and automated deployments
