Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Consultant within AWS ProServe in Chicago to design, implement, and manage Data & Analytics solutions that meet customer needs.

You will lead project teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure best practices across the project lifecycle. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose migration strategies to AWS, and mentor teammates while delivering scalable, secure cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of database experience including SQL/NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis.
• 5+ years of software development experience with an object-oriented language.
• 5+ years of project management experience on large-scale customer-facing projects.
• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and design end-to-end Data Analytics AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout project delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose migration/modernization strategies.
• Act as trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies while ensuring governance and alignment with business strategy.
• Mentor team members and create reusable artifacts.
