Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Delivery Consultant for the ProServe team in the Chicago area to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions aligned with customer goals. You will drive success by providing technical leadership and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

You’ll gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, propose migration strategies, and mentor teams while working on enterprise cloud initiatives across industries.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience.
• 5+ years of database (SQL/NoSQL/Hadoop/Spark/Kafka/Kinesis) experience.
• 7+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.
• 5+ years of software development with OO language experience.
• 3+ years of cloud-based solution experience (AWS or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, scalable, secure AWS solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements and migration strategies.
• Act as trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge within the organization.
