Job summary
Moody’s is seeking an experienced Analytics professional to design and deliver trusted analytics, reporting, and data products, including AI-enabled solutions. You will partner with business and technology teams to elicit requirements, translate problems into user stories, and guide architectural decisions across Databricks, reporting layers, and AI workflows.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management experience in BI/analytics or data product delivery.
- Translate ambiguous problems into structured requirements, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria.
- Partner with business and tech teams to influence design decisions and practical solutions.
- Design data products, semantic models, reporting frameworks, and reusable analytics with engineering teams.
- Knowledge of data modeling, Lakehouse and data warehousing concepts including dimensional modeling and governance.
- Experience with analytics platforms like Databricks or Power BI; familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
- Analytical mindset to validate data and ensure reporting accuracy and usability.
- Proficiency with AI concepts and hands-on AI tools to streamline workflows and enable AI-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver trusted analytics, reporting, data products, and AI-enabled solutions with business and tech teams.
- Elicit and prioritize reporting, analytics, and data product requirements across BI, FP&A, Sales Analytics, and stakeholders.
- Translate problems into clear user stories, data definitions, and acceptance criteria.
- Evaluate and recommend approaches across Databricks, reporting layers, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Lead workshops with business and technical stakeholders to align scope and expectations.
- Support data modeling aligned to business semantics including dimensions, measures, hierarchies, and lineage.
- Contribute to reporting design, source-to-target mapping, and semantic layer development.
- Lead or support end-to-end testing of reports and datasets, validating against source systems and rules.
- Ensure data quality, governance, usability, and identify AI-driven insights opportunities.
