Logic is a practitioner-led program management firm delivering critical infrastructure projects for utilities and public agencies. We seek a Data Analyst II to support a utility wildfire program in the San Diego area, handling reporting, analytics, and regulatory deliverables with ownership from data handling to presentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in a related field.
• Strong proficiency with Power BI and advanced Excel for reconciliation, data shaping, and quality review.
• 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, data management, BI, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience independently leading reporting or analytics assignments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and analysis.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, automation, or modeling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to attend in-person meetings in the San Diego area as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute processes to assess client datasets and prepare reliable, traceable data for analysis, reporting, and visualization.
• Lead assigned reporting and analytics projects independently, including planning, stakeholder coordination, testing, documentation, and delivery.
• Build and maintain interactive Power BI or Tableau dashboards that communicate KPIs and wildfire mitigation performance.
• Apply statistical methods and modeling to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and anomalies.
• Develop test plans and perform QA/QC to ensure reports, calculations, dashboards, and data automation tools function properly.
• Translate technical analyses into plain-language findings for project managers and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, standardize methodologies, and automate recurring processes.
