Job summary

Bloom Consulting Services in Dublin, OH is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a full-time, hybrid role. You will design and maintain Power BI dashboards across operations, finance, and sales, building semantic data models with DAX and implementing RLS to secure data access.

You will write complex SQL against Azure SQL, collaborate with data engineers, and translate business questions into measurable data products while guiding stakeholders through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field.
• 4+ years of professional experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Industry background in transportation or logistics is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for operations, finance, sales, and executives.
• Develop semantic data models in Power BI using DAX, including measures, calculated columns, and RLS.
• Analyze and tune reports to improve load times and reliability; establish self-service BI standards.
• Collaborate with data engineers to define data requirements, validate pipeline outputs, and ensure data quality upstream of reporting.
• Partner with department leaders to translate business questions into measurable data products; lead requirements sessions.
• Communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences; contribute to data-driven strategy.
