Qualifications

• 3+ years in data analytics, data science, or related field.
• Own recurring reporting end-to-end and deliver analyses that shape decisions.
• Strong SQL skills with BigQuery or Snowflake, and dbt experience.
• Experience designing and running A/B tests and applying statistical methods.
• Proficiency in Python for analysis, data wrangling, and automation, with Git experience.
• Strong communication skills across cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted analytics partner to newsroom editorial and strategy leaders, driving audience growth, engagement and retention.
• Develop and maintain centralized dashboards and automated reports.
• Run deep-dive analyses on opportunities, major events, and shifts in performance.
• Develop novel metrics and analytical frameworks to inform newsroom strategy and drive adoption.
• Own and maintain the reporting stack with data engineering and product teams.
