Job summary

Orangepeople is seeking a Data Analyst to strengthen our databases and support better decision-making. You will manage and improve databases, test changes, and apply your database management expertise to secure data.

Collaborate with growth marketing and analytics teams to build dashboards (Tableau), optimize ETL for campaigns, and write SQL to drive insights. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in a STEM field.
• 5+ years of SQL experience across Oracle/Vertica/Hive/MySQL.
• Experience building distributed data extraction and processing pipelines.
• ETL design, implementation and maintenance experience.
• BI reporting tools experience (Tableau, MicroStrategy).
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Gather data and metrics requirements with growth marketers, program managers, and analytics team.
• Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and ongoing analysis (e.g., Tableau).
• Build and optimize ETL processes for marketing campaigns and reporting.
• Write high-quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to fix data integrity/accuracy issues across reporting, data infra, and dashboards.
