Job summary

IDR, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Data Analyst to join a top client on a long-term basis. You will develop business requirements and work with stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business needs using Databricks, PySpark, and Power BI.

You will collaborate with a technical lead and participate in design discussions with the development team. Ideal candidates have 5+ years experience with Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, and data visualization, plus data mapping and requirements

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on Databricks and PySpark for data analysis and transformation.
5+ years advanced Spark SQL, writing efficient, complex queries on large datasets in Databricks.
5+ years data visualization and dashboarding in Power BI and Databricks native visualization tools.
5+ years data mapping and modeling to integrate and transform data.
5+ years gathering and developing business requirements with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop business requirements and support change management documentation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align data solutions with business needs.
Work with a technical lead and participate in design discussions and planning with the broader development team.
