Job summary

Tiger Analytics is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst in the Richmond, VA area to drive data-driven decisions for top-tier clients. You will work with Python, SQL, and cloud technologies to analyze large datasets and deliver actionable insights.

You will partner with stakeholders, transform data, and build dashboards using Tableau/Power BI. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data analytics within banking or financial services and client-facing consulting experience.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in Data Analytics in financial services or related sector.
Strong SQL for large datasets and data extraction/validation.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting.
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
Knowledge of banking/financial services data and client-facing/consulting experience.
Hands-on data analysis, profiling, and transformation-rule documentation.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
Work with large datasets using Python/PySpark (Databricks/Jupyter).
Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
Handle large-scale banking/credit datasets.
Ingest data from AWS S3 and integrate with downstream systems.
