Job summary

Pennylane, a fast-growing Fintech in France, seeks a Senior Data Analyst to join the Science & Analytics team focused on Acquisition. You will work within a 40+-person Data department to use data to drive business results and improve user experience.

You’ll partner with Sales & Operations leaders, lead rigorous analyses, and promote a data-driven culture with self-service analytics across the company. You will also engage with the Data Warehouse and dbt-based data models to support company

Responsibilities

• Proactively use data to identify opportunities to grow the business or improve processes.
• Be a sparring partner for Sales & Operations leaders, feeding their strategy by anticipating key business questions and using data & statistics to answer them.
• Steer decision-making in your area through rigorous analyses, navigating ambiguity and collaborating across domains when needed.
• Drive our self-service analytics approach by understanding colleagues' needs and promoting a data-driven culture.
• Contribute to shaping the Data Engineering roadmap and improving the data platform with the Data Warehouse (dbt).

HOW you will contribute to the company

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be part of the Science & Analytics team focused on Acquisition (5+ people), inside the Data department (40+ people).

• You will proactively use data to identify opportunities to grow our business or improve our processes.
• You will be a real sparring partner for Sales & Operation leaders, feed their strategy by anticipating the most important business questions, and leverage your data & statistical skills to answer them.
• You will steer decision‑making in your business area through rigorous analyses, navigating ambiguity and collaborating across domains when needed.
• You will drive our self-service approach to analytics, by understanding our colleague’s needs in their use of data, and promoting a data driven culture.

The Science & Analytics team is also fully in charge of creating data models in the Data Warehouse (using dbt)

• You will contribute to shaping the Data Engineering roadmap to deliver the best experience for your colleagues on the data platform.
