Job summary

Kani Solutions Inc. is seeking a senior analytics-focused professional to own dashboards, KPI governance, and data-driven insights. You will craft agent workflows and manage end-to-end information delivery from curated data sources.

You will collaborate with executives and business teams, ensure accuracy of AI-driven outputs, and deliver timely alerts via Slack. Strong SQL, Python, and data modeling are essential, with Databricks/Tableau experience a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics, BI, or data science.
• Strong SQL and data modeling.
• Working Python for automation, integrations, and analysis.
• Comfort with version control, APIs, and reading and debugging code.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools (LLM APIs, prompt design, or agent workflows).
• Strong communication with executives and business teams.

Job description

Location: Remote U.S. (PST preferred); however, we are open to candidates located in EST/CST time zones and Canada.

• Reports into [hiring manager / department]; works closely with our one data scientist.
• The data scientist owns data ingestion, Databricks pipelines, and machine learning. This hire owns everything downstream: curated datasets, metric definitions, Tableau, and AI-driven insight delivery.
• This is not a pipeline engineering or machine learning role.

Must-haves

• 5+ years in analytics, BI, or data science
• Strong SQL and data modeling
• Working Python for automation, integrations, and analysis
• Comfort with version control, APIs, and reading and debugging code (generated or hand-written)
• Hands-on experience with AI tools (LLM APIs, prompt design, or agent workflows)
• Strong communication with executives and business teams

Nice-to-haves

• Databricks (SQL, notebooks) or similar cloud data platforms
• MCP or other tool-connection standards
• Tableau Cloud, Pulse, or Next; Salesforce or CRM analytics
• Slackbot, Slack workflows, or building agents in Slack
• Experience testing or evaluating AI output for accuracy
