Job summary

NationsBenefits is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to drive business decisions through data-driven insights. You will partner with Product, Operations, Client Success and Leadership to understand performance, identify opportunities, measure outcomes and provide actionable recommendations.

Go beyond reporting: answer what happened, why it happened and what to do next. Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, cohort analyses and trend investigations, and translate findings into business

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product/Business Analytics or Data Analytics.
• Experience analyzing product, customer, or business performance.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Ability to translate data insights into business actions.
• Experience building dashboards for executives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product, program, customer, and business performance data.
• Develop and maintain KPIs, business metrics, and measurement frameworks.
• Perform cohort analysis, segmentation analysis, trend analysis, and root-cause investigations.
• Partner with Product Managers and business leaders to define success metrics and business questions.
• Identify drivers of customer engagement, retention, utilization, and business performance.
• Deliver actionable recommendations supported by data.
• Build recurring reporting and executive-ready dashboards.
• Present insights and recommendations to business and executive stakeholders.
• Validate data quality and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to support reporting and analysis needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product, program, customer, and business performance data
• Develop and maintain KPIs, business metrics, and measurement frameworks
• Perform cohort analysis, segmentation analysis, trend analysis, and root-cause investigations
• Partner with Product Managers and business leaders to define success metrics and business questions
• Identify drivers of customer engagement, retention, utilization, and business performance
• Deliver actionable recommendations supported by data
• Build recurring reporting and executive-ready dashboards
• Present insights and recommendations to business and executive stakeholders
• Validate data quality and ensure reporting accuracy
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to support reporting and analysis needs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Analytics, Business Analytics, Customer Analytics, or Data Analytics
• Advanced SQL skills
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or modern cloud data platforms
• Experience building KPIs and measurement frameworks
• Strong experience performing:
• Trend Analysis
• Experience supporting product, customer, member, or business performance analysis
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience translating analytical findings into business actions and recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer or Member Analytics experience
• Healthcare, insurance, fintech, or regulated industry experience
• Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
• Executive-facing reporting and presentation experience
