Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in data analysis, BI, analytics, reporting, data management, or related field.
• Advanced experience with Power BI including dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, and visualization design.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake or a comparable enterprise cloud data platform.
• Strong SQL experience and experience analyzing large or complex datasets.
• Understanding of data pipelines, data quality practices, and semantic data models.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience working with external vendors or managed-service providers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to identify analytical needs and translate them into reporting and analytics requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, scorecards, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, root causes, and performance drivers.
• Own the quality, usability, and adoption of assigned analytics and reporting solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation for business rules, metrics, data definitions, and report logic.
• Validate source data, identify data quality issues, and partner with technical teams to resolve defects.
• Build and maintain semantic models, data transformations, and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure analytics solutions meet business, security, and architectural requirements.
• Support data governance, privacy, security, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As the Senior Data Analyst, you will work cross-functionally with business leaders, technology teams, and external partners to define analytical needs and deliver effective reporting and analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Data Analyst role will have strong experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and enterprise reporting, with advanced Power BI skills and experience working with cloud-based data platforms. This individual should have excellent communication skills, the ability to translate complex data findings for nontechnical audiences, and experience developing scalable reporting solutions. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of two days per week in the Nashville office.
