Job summary

Insight Global is looking for a Data Engineer for a client in Phoenix, AZ. This on-site role focuses on data governance, reporting solutions, and driving data-driven decision making across the organization.

You will analyze large datasets and deliver actionable insights while ensuring compliance with Reg YY in a banking environment. The position offers a salary range of $110K-$125K plus bonus and LTIs, with a 4 days/week on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics & Data Management.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Intermediate-Advanced experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Excel) and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with regulatory reporting in banking; Reg YY preferred.
• Experience with project management and handling multiple priorities.
• Experience with predictive modeling, statistical analysis, or machine learning preferred.
• Knowledge of banking operations (deposits, loans, treasury).
• Knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations; strong communication skills.

Location: Phoenix, AZ - onsite 4 days/week

Duration: Permanent

Salary Range: $110K-$125K + bonus & LTIs

Must Haves

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics & Data Management or similar field
• Bachelor's degree in related field required
• Intermediate - Advanced experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and data visualization platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) then presenting findings from large datasets in a clear, actionable way
• Experience with increasing responsibility in regulatory reporting or other areas at a bank is preferred
• Working knowledge of Reg YY and other related regulatory reporting is preferred
• Experience with project management and managing multiple priorities and deliverables
• Experience with predictive modeling, statistical analysis, or machine learning preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
• Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills

Day-to-Day

As a Data Engineer – LFI, Data Governance, you'll play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You'll develop, maintain, improve reporting solutions, analyze large data sets, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. One of your key responsibilities is to ensure that data analysis needs by the business are met while operating within data governance requirements. You will deliver and communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner to your assigned business line. You should also be familiar with Reg YY and related reporting regulations (such as FR 2052a, FR Y-14, and FR Y-15), and work with a team focused on developing, testing, and executing regulatory reporting data for LFI status.
