You'll partner with engineering to ensure clean, reliable data pipelines, gather requirements from business stakeholders, and make dashboards and reports available in user-friendly formats. Your primary focus will be bringing visibility to our AI Receptionist product funnel, signups, revenue, and churn, as well as financial and customer data across all product lines. This is a high-impact role reporting to our data leadership with the opportunity to build our data foundation from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evolve Data Foundation
    • Design and implement data warehouse architecture
    • Scale up data pipelines from various sources
    • Create data governance framework and documentation
    • Define data quality standards and monitoring processes
  2. Build Out Analytics Infrastructure
    • Create first versions of critical dashboards
    • Establish tracking for key business metrics
    • Design scalable reporting processes
  3. Develop and Automate Reporting
    • Create and maintain dashboards for key business metrics
    • Build automated reporting systems for regular business reviews
    • Partner with Growth team to implement A/B testing analytics framework
  4. Drive Business Intelligence
    • Partner with different departments to understand their data needs
    • Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover growth opportunities
    • Provide data-driven recommendations for business decisions
  5. Support Cross-Functional Projects
    • Work with product teams to ensure key events are logged properly
    • Track and report on company KPIs, including partnering with Operations and Finance
    • Automate and ensure data integrity in weekly business review dashboards
  6. Data Democratization
    • Train team members on how to use data tools effectively
    • Create self-service analytics capabilities
    • Develop documentation for common data analyses
What We're Looking For
  1. Strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities
  2. Data integration expertise – ability to stitch together data from multiple sources to generate insights
  3. Technical foundation with experience building data infrastructure from scratch
  4. Statistical analysis skills and ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights
  5. Experience with data pipelines and ELT processes
  6. 4-7 years experience in data analysis at early-stage or scaling-stage startups
  7. Prioritization skills to manage competing demands and identify highest-impact metrics
  8. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Grafana)
  9. Advanced SQL skills with demonstrated experience writing complex queries
  10. Detail-oriented with strong quality control practices in data management
  11. Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  12. Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work autonomously on greenfield projects
Nice to Have
  1. Experience integrating business tools as data sources (Salesforce, GA, GTM, Mailchimp, Meta Ads)
  2. Experience implementing BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) from scratch
  3. Experience with tying marketing and user acquisition data to behavioral events
  4. Experience working with product-led growth funnels and customer journey analytics
