Role Description

The Senior Data Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Leavenworth, KS. This role is responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing complex data sets to support decision-making, operational performance, and strategic initiatives. The Senior Data Analyst will design and implement data models, develop dashboards and reports, and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, actionable formats. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, validating data integrity, identifying trends and patterns, and supporting the development of metrics to measure program effectiveness. The role also involves documenting analytical methods, mentoring junior analysts, and contributing to continuous improvement of data processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and proven experience in data analytics to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
• Proficiency in statistics and data modeling to design, test, and validate models that support forecasting and performance measurement.
• Clear and effective communication skills to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and SQL or other query languages.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, mission-oriented environment.
• Experience supporting Federal government or defense-related programs is beneficial; eligibility for relevant security clearances may be required.
