Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer who will own architecture and deliver production-grade data and AI solutions for customers. You will work across data engineering, AI, and application development, guiding design decisions and implementing end-to-end systems using the Databricks platform.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to ensure secure, scalable architectures and measurable outcomes, while traveling to client sites as needed and maintaining

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark and related runtimes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments and MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead production-grade data and AI solutions for customer deployments.
• Architect and design end-to-end data pipelines, ML/AI model integrations, and applications.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to ensure scalable, secure outcomes.
