Job summary

Futran Tech Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineering & AI Platform Engineer on a contract-to-hire basis. You will design, build, and operate scalable data platforms on cloud-native pipelines, supporting batch and streaming workloads and AI/ML use cases.

You will mentor engineers, promote DevOps/DataOps practices, and collaborate with business stakeholders in an Agile environment to deliver high-impact data and AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Delta Lake on cloud data platforms.
• Proficient in Python, PL/SQL, SQL, and Unix shell scripting.
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale enterprise data platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps/DataOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and data quality frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable data engineering platforms using modern ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Architect modular, reusable data systems for batch and streaming workloads.
• Enable Generative AI data pipelines and NLP workflows.
• Collaborate in Agile teams and mentor engineers.
