Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Senior Delivery Manager to spearhead end-to-end delivery of data and AI programs, guiding distributed teams through platform modernization, GenAI initiatives, and production-grade analytics. You will act as a trusted advisor to client leadership and own scope, budget, and governance to ensure successful, compliant outcomes.

The role requires deep experience delivering data platforms on major clouds, hands-on AI tooling, and strong executive communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT and 4+ years delivering data or analytics programs with distributed teams.
• 3+ years hands-on experience as data engineer/architect/BI-analytics engineer/data scientist.
• Proven production delivery of data platforms on one major cloud and a modern data platform.
• Delivery experience on AI/ML or GenAI initiatives in production.
• Hands-on use of AI tools in delivery practice with examples to show.
• Strong data governance, data quality, and MLOps fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own scope, schedule, quality, budget, and margin for data engagements from discovery to production and hypercare.
• Lead delivery of data platform modernization and AI use cases built on it (RAG, agentic apps, ML models, analytics).
• Ensure data is AI-ready with governance, lineage, metadata, and access controls treated as delivery requirements.
• Introduce AI-accelerated practices (AI coding assistants, automated docs, AI-driven planning and reporting).
• Implement human-in-the-loop controls, auditability, and responsible-AI practices for regulatory contexts.
• Measure delivery velocity, quality, cost-to-serve, and AI adoption; report to stakeholders.
