In this Resident Solutions Architect role, you will partner with clients on short- to mid-term engagements, delivering data engineering, data science, and cloud solutions using the Databricks platform. You will design reference architectures, guide customers through end-to-end transformations, and work with engagement managers to scope and deliver value while

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala.
• Experience with two or more Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and at least one in depth.
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark and Spark internals.
• CI/CD for production deployments proficiency.
• Experience with MLOps and end-to-end data architectures.
• Strong project delivery, scope and timeline management.
• Excellent documentation and white-boarding skills.
• Experience working with clients and managing conflicts.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Databricks Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reference architectures and production-ready use cases.
• Scope professional services with engagement managers and client input.
• Guide strategic customers through big data transformations from design to deployment.
• Consult on architecture and bootstrap customer projects delivering value.
• Provide escalated support for operational issues.
• Collaborate with Databricks teams to ensure engagement success.
• Contribute product feedback to enable rapid issue resolution.
