Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Torrance, CA is seeking a Senior Data & AI Developer to design, build, and support enterprise data, analytics and AI solutions. You will create scalable data pipelines, data models, and Power BI dashboards that translate complex data into actionable insights and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years designing and developing enterprise data, analytics, or BI solutions.
• 3+ years developing Power BI enterprise reporting solutions.
• Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure data services or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience developing AI-enabled applications using Python, Azure OpenAI, LLMs, or ML technologies is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and AI-enabled platforms across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Design ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Fabric, or similar technologies.
• Create scalable data models and integration patterns for enterprise analytics and AI initiatives.
• Establish integration patterns across ERP, CRM, PLM, MES, and other enterprise apps.
• Build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
• Develop semantic models, datasets, and data products for self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and KPIs.
• Optimize SQL queries and data processing for performance.
