What's waiting for you:

• Design and implementation of scalable data platforms (batch & real-time) and AI solutions in Azure cloud environments
• Advising customers on data platform strategies, AI solutions, and architecture decisions
• Conducting workshops on topics such as data strategies, data engineering, data governance, MLOps, AI RAG, and AI agents
• Migrating on-premises data solutions to the cloud (e.g., Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake)
• Developing and implementing AI models, e.g., using RAG and AI agents to handle complex business requirements
• Ensuring data quality, performance optimization, and monitoring
• Working closely with data scientists, BI teams, and DevOps to integrate analytics and ML solutions

What you bring:

• Completed university degree in computer science, data science, business informatics, or comparable field related to data management
• Several years of professional experience as a data & AI engineer, ideally in a consulting role
• In-depth Azure experience, especially in the data engineering environment with Azure services (e.g., Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Fabric, Databricks, Power BI)
• Proficient in building robust ETL/ELT processes in cloud and hybrid scenarios
• Very good knowledge of programming languages (Python, SQL) and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, and Terraform)
• Practical experience in working with LLM solution architectures, RAG design, and familiarity with LLMOps and AI agent frameworks
• Understanding of security and governance in enterprise environments
• Enthusiasm for consulting and direct customer contact, enjoyment of customer meetings, workshop moderation, and knowledge transfer
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as excellent communication skills (German and English)
• Willingness to travel to customers on site (German-speaking Switzerland) and work remotely
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
