Job summary

Day Wireless Systems seeks a Sr Radio DAS Technician to conduct RF site surveys and optimize DAS/ERRCS systems. Remote position with headquartered activity in Sacramento, CA, and travel across the western U.S.

You will design, commission, and document RF systems while coordinating with AHJs and inspectors to ensure NFPA 1221/1225 and FCC Part 90 compliance. Eligible candidates hold a Telecommunications Engineering degree with 3–5 years of related experience, plus hands-on experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience with a bachelor's or 3 years with a master's.
• Experience in RF engineering, DAS/ERRCS, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RF site surveys to evaluate signal propagation and interference.
• Design, configure, and commission DAS and public safety BDA systems.
• Develop technical diagrams, test reports, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with AHJs and building inspectors to ensure regulatory standards.
• Travel throughout the western U.S. up to 75% of the time.
