Job summary

HCI Systems, Inc. is seeking skilled DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) Designers to design and draft DAS/ERRCS shop drawings for complex facilities, perform RF modeling, and prepare submittals and closeout documents.

You will collaborate with project teams to ensure code-compliant, high-quality designs and maintain library materials and documentation. The role requires AutoCAD expertise with Revit preferred, familiarity with NFPA 1221/1225, FCC rules, and RF/ERRCS standards, plus experience with

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills including AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred.
• Familiarity with IFC, NFPA 1221/1225, AHJ DAS code requirements, FCC rules, and building codes related to RF/ERRCS systems.
• Experience with RF modeling tools such as iBwave.
• Industry certifications such as iBwave Level 1–3, GROL, NICET, or related RF/telecom credentials preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and related design software.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design DAS/ERRCS shop drawings for multi-family, high-rise, military, healthcare, and commercial facilities.
• Conduct RF modeling, heat mapping, link budget creation, and predictive coverage analysis.
• Coordinate designs with engineers, GCs, low-voltage trades, RF vendors, and building owners.
