Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Dams and Hydropower Senior Project Manager to lead major dam and hydropower projects in the West Region Water Business Line. The role focuses on directing multi-disciplinary teams, driving proposals, and engaging with clients across Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.

The position offers relocation and belongs to a global infrastructure leader with a legacy of safe, innovative water solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree+ 10+ years of experience in dams and hydropower
• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred
• Active involvement with industry groups (USSD/ASDSO) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as program/project/tech lead on major dams and hydropower projects
• Lead pursuit of major projects in Northern California and Pacific Northwest
• Support development of business strategies for dams and hydropower in target regions
• Develop client relationships and win work with existing and new clients
• Coordinate opportunities with leadership and other PMs for strategic hiring and delivery
• Maintain regular client interaction to ensure satisfaction with services
• Coordinate with practice leads to match skills with market trends
