Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Senior Dam Safety Engineer to perform specialized dam safety evaluations and collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies. This role requires extensive experience in civil or geotechnical engineering and offers a fully remote work option. Responsibilities include leading dam safety inspections, managing projects, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate should hold a valid PE license and have over 15 years in engineering consulting. Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering consulting experience, including dam safety evaluations.
• Active PE License in good standing required.
• Previously performed FERC roles such as PMFA/L2RA Facilitator.

Responsibilities

• Perform FERC Part 12D inspections and provide dam safety services.
• Lead Potential Failure Modes Analysis workshops.
• Oversee hydrological and structural evaluations of dam sites.
