Job summary

Korn Ferry Group partners with a client seeking a Senior D365 Business Analyst in Danbury or Torrington, CT for a contract-to-hire role. You will configure and support D365 F&O with emphasis on Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver system improvements.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, document configurations and processes, and support implementations and updates in a hybrid environment with occasional travel

Qualifications

• Minimum five years hands-on D365 F&O experience, or AX 2012 + D365 F&O combo.
• Experience supporting D365 F&O in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to configure, troubleshoot and implement within D365 F&O.
• Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, support and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, focusing on SCM, Finance and Manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot production and business-process issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
• Design and configure D365 F&O parameters, posting profiles, financial dimensions, workflows, security and related functionality.
• Support D365 implementations, updates, integrations and changes to connected systems.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Service and Project stakeholders to deliver improvements.
• Contribute to major initiatives like shop-floor digitization and accounts payable automation.
• Maintain functional and system documentation for development and support.
• Independently establish priorities and move projects forward.

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Senior D365 Business Analyst for contract-to-hire opportunity in Danbury or Torrington, CT.

Responsibilities

• Configure, support and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with a primary focus on Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot production and business-process issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
• Design and configure D365 F&O parameters, posting profiles, financial dimensions, workflows, security and related functionality.
• Support D365 implementations, system updates, integrations and changes to connected or peripheral systems.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Service and Project stakeholders to evaluate requirements and deliver system improvements.
• Contribute to major initiatives such as shop-floor digitization, quality-module integration, supply-chain improvements, accounts payable automation and expense management.
• Maintain functional and system documentation for ongoing development and production support.
• Independently establish priorities, create direction and move projects and troubleshooting efforts forward.

Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Advanced functional and configuration experience across Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing modules.
• Experience supporting D365 F&O within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong D365 configuration, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, implementation and integration capabilities.
• Ability to understand the downstream business and system impact of configuration changes.
• Self-directed and able to manage priorities and deliver results with limited guidance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and stakeholder-communication skills.
• SOX, IT General Controls, change-management or access-provisioning experience is a plus but not required.

Education & Work Experience

• Degree
  • A college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Work Experience
  • Minimum five years of hands-on D365 F&O experience, or a combination of AX 2012 and D365 F&O experience.
  • Previous experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Demonstrated experience personally configuring, troubleshooting and implementing within D365 F&O.
  • Proven ability to work independently and complete complex D365 initiatives with limited direction.
