Role:

Solera is undertaking a multi-year project to migrate our global AX 2012 instance to D365 F&O. We seek experienced candidates to execute this transition and maintain the legacy implementation during the process. The Sr. Dynamics System Analyst plays a vital role in designing, developing, implementing, testing, and supporting the Dynamics ERP environment. The analyst will implement strategies and best practices for automated solutions for complex business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in FinOps initiatives, developments, and key objectives.
  • Document and maintain FinOps processes, contribute to process improvements, system mapping, and assist with change management.
  • Lead system improvements, enhancements, and projects related to PO, AP, GL, FA, and AR.
  • Design and streamline new and existing FinOps processes, ensuring stability and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to automate manual processes, adopt best practices, and meet business needs.
  • Lead meetings with user groups, super users, process experts, and functional leaders to discuss issues, ideas, and changes.
  • Analyze internal business requirements to standardize and improve practices using the ERP system.
  • Proactively address updates, research issues, test processes, and educate SMEs/BPOs on ERP functionalities.
  • Understand current processes and impacts of proposed changes on financial operations, developing new logic and setups.
  • Support the Finance Team as a subject matter expert.
  • Prepare month-end reconciliations and reports, including accruals, GL reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Manage procedures for weekly and monthly financial closes and reporting models.
  • Monitor daily finance operations and support ongoing initiatives.
  • Propose and implement policies to align financial operations with strategy, ensuring ongoing development and communication.
  • Create and maintain process documentation using MS Task Recorder and RSAT automation tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
  • 6-8 years of progressive accounting/finance experience with D365 F&O and AX 2012.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven with leadership qualities.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, growth environment.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solution-oriented with innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with MS technologies supporting D365 F&O, such as Task Recorder, RSAT, LogicalApps (preferred).
  • MS D365 F&O Certifications (preferred).
