Job summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Cyber Security Vulnerability Researcher, Advanced for on-site work at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD. You will conduct vulnerability research and develop tools to support AIR-RT operations, leveraging Python and reverse engineering tools.

Qualifications include 7+ years of experience, DoD DCWF-aligned certifications within 60 days, and strong communication skills. On-site with potential compressed schedule and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant cyber security experience.
• Experience programming in Python.
• Experience using GHIDRA and reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro.
• Ability to interact with clients and project sponsors.
• Ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced team environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability research and tool development for naval aviation security projects.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments of target environments and applications.
• Analyze security of new or existing software and provide actionable results.
• Conduct threat and vulnerability analyses during major system changes.
• Support AIR-RT operations and adhere to AIR-RT Handbook requirements.
• Identify issues and vulnerabilities in development and implementation of operational programs.
