Capital One in Plano, TX seeks a senior Cyber Security Manager to lead information security governance, risk management, and threat intelligence efforts in a fast-paced environment. You will act as a security SME, evaluate architectures, and partner with engineers and product managers to shift security left.

This role offers exposure to cloud security, incident analysis, and executive reporting. Minimum 5 years in security, strong communication, and relevant certifications preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; at least 5 years in cybersecurity or IT.
• Experience evaluating, contributing to, or supporting development of cybersecurity capabilities.
• Experience with security risk assessments and architecture reviews.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure security.

Responsabilidades

• Act as an Information Security point of contact for a business function within Capital One Card line of business.
• Coordinate and execute proactive Information Security consulting to business and technology teams across Infrastructure Security, Resiliency, Data Security, Network Architecture and User Access Management.
• Serve as an expert in Capital One’s Information Security capabilities, policies, procedures and standards; review architecture and provide risk mitigation solutions.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to break down complexity and solve problems.
• Influence stakeholders to shift security left in development processes and drive risk management.
