Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Level 3 and Graduate Level 1 Cyber Security and/or Computer Engineering majors preferred; relevant majors such as Data Science and Software Engineering be suitable given coursework or experience.

Responsibilities

• Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential security risks and vulnerabilities within the organization's systems and networks.
• Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches and attacks, including containment, eradication, and recovery procedures.
• Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor networks and systems for unusual activity or threats using SIEM tools.
• Penetration Testing: Conduct simulated attacks to identify weaknesses and suggest improvements.
• Vulnerability Management: Regularly scan for and assess vulnerabilities, prioritize remediation.
• Policy Development: Create and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Employee Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on cybersecurity awareness and safe practices.
• Access Control: Implement and manage user access controls.
• Data Encryption: Apply encryption to protect data at rest and in transit.

Education

Undergraduate Level 3 / Graduate Level 1 Cyber Security and/or Computer Engineering majors preferred
