Job summary

EY is seeking a senior cyber risk consultant to help shape clients' security programs. You will lead delivery across SIEM and SOAR initiatives, mentor junior staff, and drive risk-informed recommendations.

The role emphasizes client-facing engagements, cross-functional collaboration, and continual learning in a globally connected EY environment. You will work remotely across the US with extensive travel, influencing security architectures, incident response planning, and threat detection

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience or Master’s with 4 years of relevant work experience.
6–10 years of information security experience focusing on SIEM and SOAR with hands-on use of leading platforms.
3 years of consulting experience including client interactions, proposals and presentations.
2 years of networking, OS fundamentals, and security technologies (firewalls/IDS/IPS).
2 years of leading process definition and mapping, with SIEM/SOAR integration into business operations.

Responsibilities

Lead sessions and workstreams with clients to address cyber threats and risks.
Mentor junior consultants and provide technical leadership across engagements.
Deliver security and IT risk solutions with a focus on quality and risk management.
Manage engagement economics, budgets, and resource plans for projects.
Maintain current IT trends knowledge and apply to client service delivery.
