Job summary

EY is seeking a senior cyber risk consultant to shape and deliver security and IT risk solutions for clients across US offices. You will lead engagements implementing advanced SIEM and SOAR platforms, guide multi‑disciplinary teams, and mentor junior consultants while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes deep expertise in incident response, threat detection, and security governance, with travel up to 80% and a focus on delivering high‑quality services in a global EY

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of information security experience focusing on SIEM and SOAR solutions with hands‑on use of platforms like Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike NextGen SIEM, or Google Chronicle.
• 3 years of consulting experience addressing client needs, developing proposals, and delivering presentations.
• 2 years of security concepts and methods: vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, intrusion detection, incident response, policy creation, architectures, governance.
• 2 years of networking, OS fundamentals, and security technologies (firewalls/IDS/IPS).
• 2 years leading process definition, workflow design, and process mapping integrating SIEM and SOAR into operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate teams delivering security and IT risk solutions.
• Engage with clients daily, leading sessions and workstreams and identifying new service opportunities.
• Manage engagement economics, resource plans and budgets.
• Build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor in implementing and managing security solutions.
• Stay current on IT and industry trends to address client issues and deliver exceptional service.
