Job summary

QinetiQ US in Chantilly, VA, seeks a highly technical Senior Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Security Control Assessor (SCA) to transcend traditional compliance validation and secure complex multi-domain systems.

The ideal candidate combines deep engineering and integration expertise to advise the AO and directly support the CIO, delivering continuous risk determinations and secure architectures.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI and SAP accesses.
• 12+ years of IT, cybersecurity engineering, and A&A experience.
• Experience with SAP and SCI Systems, PIT, Cloud environments, Cross Domain Solutions.
• IAW 8140.01 / 8570.01-M for IAT Level III or IAM Level III (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CASP+ CE).
• Experience in defense innovation, rapid prototyping and PIT systems.

Responsibilities

• Engineering technical reviews in SRR, PDR, and CDR to bake security in.
• Guide DevSecOps and integrate automated security testing (SAST/DAST) in Agile pipelines.
• Conduct system-level threat modeling to identify attack vectors and mitigations.
• RMF execution across DoD/IC policies and translate complex findings into risk decisions.
