Job summary

OneZero Solutions, LLC seeks a Cybersecurity SME (Level III) to support a federal cybersecurity program under an IA RMF contract. The SME performs ISSE duties, manages RMF packages, and advises on strategic and operational cybersecurity plans for government systems.

The role requires active SECRET clearance, US citizenship, and CISSP-ISSAP/ISSEP. Hybrid work is available with on-site requirements in the National Capital Region and Alexandria area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline is required.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive cybersecurity experience in a technical field.
• Active DoD 8140/8570 qualifying certification: CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP is required.
• Active final SECRET clearance with ability to maintain eligibility for the duration of the task order.
• US citizenship; must obtain CAC as a condition of continued employment.
• Strong communication skills and technical leadership in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISSE for USCG information systems and OT platforms; manage RMF lifecycle.
• Maintain RMF packages in eMASS with SSPs, SCTMs, POA&Ms, and assessment reports.
• Review vulnerability findings (ACAS/Nessus) and coordinate remediation.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with DoD, DHS, USCG requirements and DISA STIGs.
• Conduct security impact assessments and participate in change management and reviews.
• Integrate Zero Trust principles and OT/ICS security requirements into designs.
• Evaluate threats and supply-chain risks; propose mitigations.
• Produce periodic cybersecurity updates and briefings for leadership.
• Mentor ISSE/SME team and suggest improvements to COR.
