Job summary

Unity Technologies Corporation in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, seeks a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide expert-level technical leadership for the Cybersecurity Assessment Program, solving highly complex challenges and shaping long-range directions. You will guide methodologies, develop innovative concepts into final products, and communicate effectively with stakeholders, safeguarding systems in a national defense context.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DoD 8570.01 IAM level III certification.
• At least 7 years IT experience.
• At least 5 years IA experience.
• Strong knowledge of RMF.
• Knowledge of DoD security regulations, DISA STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Cybersecurity Analysis and Problem Solving: Investigates and resolves unusually complex cybersecurity issues using advanced principles and techniques.
• Technical Expertise and Program Leadership: Serves as a senior technical expert for the Cybersecurity Assessment Program, providing direction and strategic guidance on technical matters.
• Innovation and Research Development: Develops new cybersecurity concepts, methodologies, and ideas, guiding them through R&D and implementation.
• Independent Execution and Strategic Initiative: Initiates assignments independently and determines actions to meet long-term objectives.
• Cybersecurity Tools and Standards Development: Evaluates tools, defines requirements, and develops product-specific STIGs based on DISA SRGs.
• Communication and Stakeholder Interaction: Communicates complex technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
