Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with TekSynap, seeks a Senior Cybersecurity SME with PM experience to lead DoD-focused cybersecurity and IT programs. You will oversee execution, personnel, stakeholder engagement, compliance, and enterprise cybersecurity operations while aligning with contractual requirements and federal regulations.

The role demands RMF expertise, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and executive-level reporting to ensure mission objectives are met and customer requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 12+ years of experience managing large-scale cybersecurity programs in DoW/Federal environments.
• Extensive expertise in RMF including ATO lifecycle, continuous monitoring, and compliance validation with eMASS tools.
• Extensive knowledge of DoW cybersecurity policies and standards (RMF, NIST 800-53, 800-207, DoDI 8500.01/8510.01, JSIG, FISMA, ISO 27001).
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for cybersecurity and IT programs ensuring contractual and customer objectives are met.
• Manage program cost, schedule, staffing, technical performance, risk, and quality across multiple projects.
• Serve as primary point of contact for government stakeholders (CO, COR, AO, senior leadership).
• Lead program planning, resource allocation, staffing, performance management, and execution of deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
• Oversee program reporting, metrics, risk registers, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership of Cybersecurity Engineers, Analysts, and Project Managers and develop personnel.
• Prepare and deliver executive reports, communications, risk assessments, and status updates with mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, DoW policies, and security regulations.
