Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant on the DPP team to lead data security initiatives for diverse clients. You will define requirements, develop security strategies, and oversee the implementation of encryption, governance, and privacy programs across data lifecycles.

You will work within EY's Advanced Security Centers, collaborating with teams to protect critical data while supporting business resilience and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 4–6 years of related experience, or a graduate degree with 3–5 years of related experience.
• 3–5 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software into client infrastructures.
• Knowledge of encryption, data disposition, data classification, security policy creation and governance.
• Understanding of data lifecycle protection and data disposal techniques (tokenization, encryption, anonymization).
• Experience integrating data protection tools into networks and applications; knowledge of data governance and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with data discovery tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, BigID, Microsoft).

Responsibilities

• Define technical and business requirements for data security solutions and develop data security strategies.
• Lead engagement teams and manage client relationships, with a focus on governance and risk.
• Implement data security products and processes across client environments.
• Help clients protect critical data throughout its lifecycle and ensure compliance.
• Advise on encryption strategy, program governance, and data governance roadmaps.
