Job summary

AnaVation LLC is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Officer to sustain the security posture of a critical information system in Reston, VA. The role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams and shift work to meet mission commitments.

Candidates should have TS/SCI with CI poly, a bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience or a master’s with two fewer years, and a Security+ (IAT II) cert. Responsibilities include policy enforcement, risk management, and incident handling.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience (master’s degree can substitute for 2 years).
• Hold or attain a CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, threat intelligence, event analysis, and incident response.
• Organizing and scheduling 24x7x365 cybersecurity operations.
• Developing and enforcing information security policies, standards, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform IA and CND functions including RFI writing, audit/inspection, certification and accreditation, vulnerability management, and response support.
• Provide security certification testing and evaluation, vulnerability management, assessments, and customer support.
• Support system security policy development, implementation, and enforcement across information systems.
• Maintain operational security posture and day-to-day security operations for the system.
• Oversee security changes, prepare SSPs, risk reports, A&A packages, and SCTMs.
