Job summary

J5 Consulting is seeking a contractor to design, build, and secure online infrastructure for a government/commercial customer. The role focuses on evolving operations, evaluating new technologies, and integrating them with existing baselines while maintaining security posture.

The contractor will deliver new technical solutions, conduct quick-turn security assessments, and document interfaces and architecture. Onsite work in the Washington DC area is required with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Experience evaluating new technologies for compatibility with existing systems.
Experience researching and developing new technologies for integration into baselines.
Experience integrating new technologies into existing systems and workflows.
Experience creating evaluation, integration, and test plans for new technologies.
Understanding of network architecture diagrams and related information.

Responsibilities

Design, build, configure, and maintain infrastructure to evolve online operations.
Understand tradecraft for secure online operations.
Keep current with internet technologies and security implications for operations.
Evaluate new technologies for applicability to activities.
Integrate new technologies with minimal disruption to operations.
Document mission solution architecture and interfaces.
Communicate across organizational boundaries.
Coordinate stakeholder engagements and track deliverables.
Ensure compliance with the Customer’s Risk Management framework.
