Job summary

J5 Consulting, a Maryland-based firm with 18+ years serving government and commercial clients, seeks a cybersecurity professional to support the Sponsor's alumni ecosystem and cloud infrastructure in the Washington, DC area.

The role requires an active TS clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, experience with AWS, Azure, DevOps tools, and Linux scripting; you will collaborate with engineers and analysts to translate requirements into secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Translate detailed design into software.
• Develop and conduct software compatibility tests across programs, hardware, OS and networks.
• Convert requirements into total systems solutions within time and cost constraints.
• Prepare program-, user-, and security documentation.
• Perform as an Agile Scrum Master.
• Work with AWS and MS Azure cloud technologies.
• Use Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, and orchestration tools like Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Administer Linux and script in Bash and Python.
• Work with the full ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Filebeat).
• Develop JavaScript/HTML/CSS web UIs.
• Work with React and/or ExtJS web UI frameworks.
