Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is recruiting for a senior audit leader within the Office of the Inspector General. The role directs audit operations, oversees cybersecurity/IT audit programs, and provides expert guidance on audit findings and corrective action planning.

The position requires top-level accounting credentials or equivalent specialized experience and security clearances. The incumbent will develop multi-year audit plans, ensure compliance with GAAS and DoD standards, and

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in accounting or auditing or related field with 24 semester hours in accounting (up to 6 hours of business law).
• CPA or CIA certification obtained through written examination, or equivalent combination including substantial accounting coursework and professional experience.
• Specialized Experience includes leading performance, cybersecurity, IT audits; developing multi-year audit plans; and advising senior leadership on audit findings and corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Manages all DISA OIG audit operations, functions, and personnel; oversee follow-up activities and CAR process.
• Formulates and oversees cybersecurity/IT audit program policy and processes.
• Provides expert guidance on systems and security for cyber audits and represents the office in studies and briefings on cybersecurity aspects of Agency operations.
• Designs and evaluates internal audit quality management programs to meet GAAS and DoD peer review requirements.
• Provides advisory services on audit findings, corrective actions, and strategic/audit planning.
