Job summary

Leidos seeks a Senior Cyber Specialist to act as the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) responsible for the day-to-day security posture, authorization, and continuous monitoring of enterprise information systems. You will own security controls and accreditation artifacts and bridge engineering and authorizing officials to ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 12+ years, or Master's with 10+ years.
Current IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+ or CISSP).
Active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Serve as ISSO for assigned systems, maintain security posture and contact for cybersecurity matters.
Execute RMF activities across categorization, control selection, implementation, assessment, authorization and continuous monitoring.
Develop and maintain System Security Plans, control implementation statements, risk assessments, contingency and incident response plans.
Maintain records in eMASS with current control status and assessment results.
Oversee vulnerability management, STIG compliance, and security configuration baselines.
Provide guidance to engineering teams on secure architecture and implementation decisions.
Coordinate with assessors and leadership on risk, remediation, and authorization decisions.
