Job summary

Applied Research Solutions seeks an experienced Cyber IPT Lead to safeguard critical national security systems. You will command a team of cybersecurity professionals, drive strategy, and shepherd the program through RMF and ATO in a highly classified DoD environment.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, 8–10 years in cybersecurity with leadership experience, and DoD/IC program knowledge. ATO readiness and risk management are core responsibilities, with cross-functional stakeholder

Qualifications

Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
8–10 years of progressive cybersecurity experience.
At least 3 years in a leadership/management role for a DoD or IC program.
DoD 8570/8140 certification at IAT Level III or IAM Level II with active certification (CISSP preferred).
Experience in TS/SCI environments and JWICS.

Responsibilities

Lead Cyber IPT, overseeing cybersecurity tasks, schedules, and resources to meet program objectives.
Develop, implement, and maintain the Program's Cybersecurity Strategy in line with DoD/IC requirements.
Guide RMF lifecycle from categorization to assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring.
Serve as liaison with AO, SCA, and security stakeholders to achieve/maintain ATO.
Create and review security documentation such as SSPs and SCGs.
Oversee vulnerability management, STIG implementation, and patching.
Ensure operations comply with JWICS and high-side environment policies.
Brief program leadership and government customers on posture, risks, and mitigation.
