Job summary

Crowe in New Jersey is seeking a Cybersecurity Senior Consultant to help clients navigate a rapidly evolving threat landscape, implement secure AI-enabled solutions, and strengthen risk programs.

You will lead assessments, advise on IAM and cloud security across Azure/AWS/GCP, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results for diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, risk advisory, or related consulting or industry roles.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, and databases (SQL, Oracle).
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and cybersecurity frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support cybersecurity risk assessments and regulatory readiness efforts (HIPAA, GDPR, CMMC).
• Evaluate IT and application controls, security configurations, and interfaces.
• Advise on security architecture, IAM, data protection, and cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Assess AI/ML use in business processes with secure implementation.
• Support business resiliency and incident response readiness initiatives.
• Align cybersecurity programs with frameworks (NIST CSF, NIST 800.53, CIS).
• Present findings to stakeholders including C-suite and boards.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development.
