Qualifications

• 7 years of network security engineering in a multi-site enterprise.
• Ability to own end‑to‑end security architecture: assess, design, build, validate, document, hand off.
• Deep firewall experience with NGFW platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco).
• Experience with network segmentation, VPNs, and site-to-site connectivity.
• Experience migrating security tooling and onboarding to SIEM/EDR.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to acquisition sites.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the acquired site's security posture and risk summary.
• Lead perimeter firewall deployment and configure VPNs per standards.
• Implement Zero Trust controls, Entra ID Conditional Access, MFA, and device compliance.
• Deploy and validate EDR across sites and integrate with SIEM.
• Coordinate with vendors on licensing, hardware, and support escalations.
• Produce formal security handoff and drive closure of findings.
