The University of Texas at Austin, through Dell Medical School, seeks a Director of Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance to lead the GRC program across clinical, academic, and research environments. This role reports to the Deputy CISO and builds capabilities to support Dell Medical School’s 2030 hospital operations goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in IT, cybersecurity, health informatics, or related field.
• CISSP or CISM certification required or preferred.
• Minimum five years in progressive leadership roles in information security governance or GRC.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Dell Medical School GRC program and report to the Deputy CISO.
• Oversee HIPAA Security Risk Analysis and remediation coordination.
• Manage third‑party risk, incident response coordination, business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Develop and maintain Dell Medical School security policies and governance aligned with UT Austin standards.
• Coordinate with legal, privacy, audit, and enterprise compliance teams.

Formation

Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Health Informatics, or a related field
