Job summary

The University System of New Hampshire seeks a Lead Cybersecurity GRC Analyst to lead governance, risk, and compliance across the system. You will coordinate risk assessments, support regulatory compliance, and oversee policy and standards development to ensure consistent security across all institutions.

Key responsibilities include managing third‑party risk, delivering security awareness programs, and guiding disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in information technology/cybersecurity field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with a broad range of cybersecurity subject areas.
• Knowledge of IT contingency planning (disaster recovery/business continuity, incident response).
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish cybersecurity policies and standards aligned with NIST CSF, 800-53, and 800-171.
• Oversee third‑party vendor security assessments and SAR processes; manage risk register metrics.
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness and training programs for students, faculty, and staff.
• Lead incident response activities, maintain records, and support after-action reviews.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
